New update: RapidPlan & RapidPath 4.2

We are excited to release RapidPlan and RapidPath 4.2. This release includes a range of new features and enhancements designed to make planning and collaboration easier. Watch the detailed walkthrough below to learn more.

What’s new in this update?

  • CAD Export: You can now export your plans in RapidPlan and RapidPath as CAD files (DXF or DWG). Both modelspace and paperspace are supported, and georeferencing options help align your drawings with existing CAD files.
  • Google Road Level Details:  When you zoom in on the Google Roadmap basemap, you’ll see more road-level information such as curbs, turn lanes, lane markings, and pedestrian crossings. (Availability may vary by location.)

  • Adjustable Google Annotations:  Control how much detail appears on your basemap. Both Google Roadmap and Google Satellite views now let you adjust annotation levels.
  • Plan Comments with Locations:  Any Plans stored in the Invarion Cloud now support location-based comments. Add notes to a specific spot on the plan, reply in threads, and mark comments as resolved once complete.
  • Custom Print Region Sizes:  Create a tailored list of print region sizes by adding the ones you use most often and removing the ones you don’t.
  • Marked Path Arrow Tails:  A new Tails drawing mode for the Marked Path object lets you draw arrows of a chosen length that follow the object’s geometry.
  • New Crosswalk Type (Ladder):  The new Ladder Crosswalk style is now supported as a native object,  so you no longer need to draw the outer edges manually.
  • Advanced Web Proxy Setting:  RapidPlan 4.2 and RapidPath 4.2  now support the latest proxy settings in the Invarion Launcher, making it easier to use in secure networks.
