New update: RapidPlan & RapidPath 4.3

What’s new in the update?

• Custom Symbols:  Custom symbols are now available for selected objects, making it easier to customize your plans and reuse standardized symbols across projects. A new custom symbol toggle in the properties grid lets you quickly preview, search, and apply symbols from your symbol folder for consistent, professional results.
• Chainage Marker:  The new chainage marker tool simplifies adding distance references along roads, paths, and work zones. Generate markers from lines, splines, or Bézier curves with automatically spaced, snappable ticks and clear chainage labels that can be adjusted to suit different layouts.
• Manifest Box Icons: The Manifest Box can now optionally display object icons, aligning its behavior with the Legend Box. This improves visual clarity, consistency, and overall readability of your plans.
• Multiple Windows Support:  You can now run multiple RapidPlan and RapidPath instances on the same machine, making it easier to work on multiple plans or workflows in parallel. Open a new blank window from the File menu, or open an existing plan in a new window directly from the diagram tab.
• Print Region Enhancements:  Print Regions now offer better control and clarity when preparing multi-page outputs. You can add comments, reorder regions with drag-and-drop sorting to control export and batch print order, and adjust inner print region label placement for cleaner, more readable layouts, making complex print outputs easier to manage and review.
• Improved Zoomed View Box Snapping:  Zoomed View Box snapping has been enhanced to provide greater precision and flexibility when adjusting views. New snapping options give you more control, making it easier to align and fine-tune plan details accurately.
• Performance Improvements & Future-Proofing:  System performance has been optimized, with architectural enhancements introduced to improve long-term stability, scalability, and reliability — helping RapidPlan and RapidPath perform smoothly as your projects and workflows grow.
