New update available: RapidPlan 3.1

What’s new in this update?

Control Point Snapping and Road Alignment: Precisely connect objects with each other by snapping into existing control points. Hold the Ctrl key while point-snapping roads or other objects, and their geometries will merge seamlessly.

Measurements Panel: Press F8 to quickly measure distances, areas and angles on your plan. Measurements are precise, zoom-independent, and can be saved as marker objects.

Base Map Bearing: Base map bearing is now adjustable, so you can draw your plans at any orientation.

Selection Improvements: The selection box has been optimized for extra flexibility when selecting multiple objects. Additionally, you can now preview and select objects across all layers by holding the Ctrl+Alt keys.

New Drawing Tools: Use the Marked Path tool to illustrate vehicle movement direction and the Road Region tool to draw irregular asphalted regions like parking lots.

Road Ends: Roads can now automatically draw Flat, Round, or Cul-de-sac endings with a specified radius.

Improved PDF Compression: Files produced by exporting your base map plans to PDF are now much smaller and can be easily distributed as email attachments.

Multi-Message Bookmarks: The Multi-Message Sign dialog loads faster, shows panel codes, and lets you bookmark your most-used panels for instant access.

How will I know when the update is available?

When a new update is available for download, an ‘Update’ button will appear on the Invarion Gateway. Click the button and you’ll be up and going with RapidPlan 3.1 in no time!
